‘There are now an estimated 2.5 million people living with cancer in the UK, a figure that is projected to rise to 4 million by 2030. Thanks to advances in treatment, people are now living longer with a cancer diagnosis than ever before. [...] This trend is expected to continue’ - MacMillan

This workshop is open to all yoga and movement bodywork teachers and will look at how you can support those impacted by cancer in your classes. As more people live longer with cancer and the side effects of cancer than ever before the support offered is often poor or even non-existent.

This workshop is led by Vicky Fox, author of ‘Yoga For Cancer A-Z of C’( 2022). Vicky has been teaching yoga classes for those impacted by cancer since 2013 and running trainings for teachers since 2022.

This 2 day course will specifically focus on the common side effects of treatment for cancer and how to support students with side effects such as fatigue, nausea, muscle loss, bone loss, peripheral neuropathy and lymphoedema.
